      DATE: Thursday, September 11

      SOCIAL HOUR:   11:00 - noon

LUNCH AND MORE:  Noon - 4:00

MENU SELECTIONS will be from the onsite Axel’s Restaurant. They are excellent! Select when you register:

  • Grilled 6 oz Sirloin with Demi Glaze
  • Roasted Vegetable Penne Alfredo
  • Seared Atlantic Salmon in Orange Miso Sauce

If you need a meal to meet special dietary needs, send an email to knights@1970irondaleclassreunion.com .

COST:  $35 per person (late fee of an additional $15 will apply if registration is received after August 13, 2025).

There will be displays of many of our elementary school class photos, our yearbook photos, and a special Classmate Memorial Display. And, by popular demand from the 50-year reunion, a trivia activity, “Where Do You Live Map”, and the “Heads and Tails” game will return!

If you missed "Heads or Tails" at the last reunion, you won't want to miss this. Buy a string of beads for $5, maximum of four. When the time comes, gather on the dance floor wearing your beads. You'll be invited to pick Heads (hands on head) or Tails (hands on butt). A giant coin is flipped. If you guessed wrong, you remove a string of beads. We keep flipping, and removing beads, until only one person is left with any beads. The winner gets  half the pot...up to $500! The remainder moves to the reunion funds. So...bring a $20 bill and enjoy the fun! You could be the winner!

EVENT TWO - 9-HOLE GOLF SCRAMBLE!

LOCATIONBrightwood Hills Golf Course (just 1.3 miles from Irondale)

      DATE: Friday, September 12

      START TIME:   11:00 (arrive before)

      COST: $18 per person

The Golf Scramble is a fun golf opportunity for all levels of golfers.

A Scramble uses the format where each player in a foursome tees off, then everyone’s second shot is from the location of the “best” drive from the foursome. Each succeeding shot is from the place of that best shot. Until the ball gets in the hole. The score is kept for the foursome, so if you have a muffed shot, it doesn’t matter. Prizes for the top foursome. Form a foursome or we will put some together that day. Lots of fun for everyone!

This is a separate registration from the lunch event. More details to come later. Let Brook (Patricia Lemm-Tabor) know you are interested, at patricialemm@yahoo.com, so she can get an estimate for the number of players.

Maybe we’ll go to the Mermaid afterward until the School Tour!

We’ll meet in the NEW lobby just after school lets out (so there’s room to park) and get tours from student tour guides. Gathering time confirmed later.

Notice: They’ve changed your locker combination! Actually your whole locker.

Wear your letter jackets, cheerleader sweaters, maroon and gold, and help cheer on our Knights!! There will be a special section for us identified by a big banner.

The location of the game has not been determined by the Conference yet.

If it’s a home game we might get free passes (given out at the School Tour).

If it’s an away game, we’ll still gather in a special section identified by the same big banner.
